ROBOT CHICKEN SUCKS

I was all excited that I was about to see Robot Chicken for the first time because I thought it would be something I would like, but alas, I was let down. It was not funny to me at all. I think I'll stick with AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE. One of my favorite episodes is when Shake kills himself to get into a Ouiji-type videogame and can't get out, so Frylock and Meatwad summon a Shamen (who can only resurrect chickens) to try to bring him back to life. ARISE, CHICKEN, ARISE!!

HAIR RAISING DECISION

Today is the Pennsylvania presidential primary and for the first time in my life, I don't know if I will vote! I'm a GOP gal, but I'm not a lever-puller either. I try to make informed decisions about who I vote for, and I'm what the media calls a "values voter." I'm not wild about John McCain (closet Dem), and I don't want to see either Sir "William" Hillary or Fauxbama get into the White House and attempt to institute their socialistic ideas--I don't want to get started! Plus, I want to hear real solutions to real problems...not WHAT you want to do but HOW are you going to do it and WHEN, not ot mention how much will it COST? Also, I don't want to hear the tired "bring home the troops" mantra. I support the war, although like many Americans, I don't want to see our troops put in harms way either. IMO, only time will tell whether or not this war was a success or a grand mal failure of the Bush administration. I'm also tired of hearing whether or not the candidates support abortion--notice I didn't use the "cowardly" and "covert" term pro-choice (PRO ABORTION is appropriate IMHO). I'm staunchly pro-life but I also know that the Supreme Court is the only entity that can reverse Roe v. Wade and I don't see that happening in my lifetime. Yes, the President has the power to appoint SCJs who could work toward that reversal, but right now our government has bigger issues to tackle. The economy, gas prices, illegal immigration, etc. The adult v. fetal stem cell issue is immensely important to me, but again, there are issues that are imminently more important. Where the candidates stand on those issues serves as my set of criteria as to whom I would vote for. Anyway, I think I might write someone in for shits & giggles...

MOTIVATIONAL POSTERS

Don't you get annoyed by those run-of-the-mill motivational posters hung in offices that are titled "Success" or "Achievement" and have some "witty" phrase relating to the topic along with a picture of a soaring eagle or a Porsche? Well, thanks to my brother who sent me a group of ones I actually like, I will be featuring the ones I like the most here and there in this blog. So, w/o further adieu, this one is my favorite!! I nearly pisssed myself laughing!
